Dusty Attic October Challenge

Super excited about getting my rush order from Dusty Attic, I was having a look at their blog only to find out that we can purchase the product directly.  So I placed an order on the Thursday and received it on Monday (all the way from Perth) - how quick was that, and on top of it, if you order $75 or more you get your shipping for free.... Bargin and what great service..

Anyway I decided to enter their challenge for month, such great inspiration on their blog to, 

                            

and here is my take on the challenge.. I have taken the yellow and light blue from mood board and combine it with black and gold.  I just love the Geometric Border which is what I used and cut it in half....

I added some washi tape in between my pattern papers, I love the look

Kraft + Challenge

This month's challenge over at Kraft + Challenge blog, is all about feathers & nature.

I have just come back from scrap camp over at Glentui and scrapped up a storm, it felt so good to be scrapping again.  Here is my take on the challenge - i have scrapped my little niece again.... such a cutie pie

For my feathers, I used a my Silhouette to cut them out and then also used a wooden ULD feather and inked it white.  For my nature item I used a piece of bark which I found around the area at Scrap Camp....

Loved the colour combo with the Kraft cardstock... and loved my new Dusty Attic items... I created the background using water colour pencils... love it.
