Scrap Around the World - October Challenge

I just couldn't resist, I just loved the bright - bold colours in this month's challenge over at Scrap Around the World.

I decided to use the colours as my inspiration, and created this layout of my little niece.

I started with using yellow, green and pink gelatos on the background paper and from there started adding papers and washi tape.

Added a couple of splats here and there.....

and some close up of the little embellishments - I have used the Clique Kit, Carpe Diem July 2015 Kit.

SATW August Challenge

Loved the mood board over at Scrap Around the World this month, just gorgeous.  I have used the colours in the cotton reels as my inspiration this month and have been waiting to use these photo's of Abigail on her Contiki Trip to Europe.

                       

So here is my layout

For the background I used some water colours together with some texture paste and a Prima stencil.

and another close up, I have used the Cut Shoppe's cut file for my title, they are just too cute.

Scrap Around the World - A Light & Airy Mood Board

OOOH when I saw this month's challenge over at Scrap Around the World, I just couldn't resist, I just love those colours together.  Love the blue and pink, just gorgeous and used those colours for my inspiration.

So here is my layout, I have done another one of my little niece Gia.

I am loving white frames with glitter on them, I took a normal Crate Paper Frame and embossed it with white embossing powder and then sprinkled some Martha Stewart Glitter over it.... 

I also embossed the Unique Laser Heart with White embossing powder and popped a journal sticker on it, love the way it came out

Little Sunshine

I was so inspired by the designer's layouts over at Scrap Around the World for their June challenge so I decided to enter this layout of my little niece.

Here is the inspiration board - I just loved the colours together and I think it was the straws which caught my eye, I love Black & White mixed with another colour.

So here is my take on the challenge - I took the inspiration of the stripy straws and used a PL card to back my photo, and of course the colours yellow and grey were also an inspiration.
