White with 1 - January Challenge

Firstly just want to say a HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone, coming to you some South Africa today whilst we are on our family holiday.  It's been so special to share Christmas with our family and to meet two of our little nieces for the first time.

WW1 - teaming up with Sketchabilities this month, so it's a colour & sketch challenge.  I have to say this sketch was fantastic to worth it,

Here is my take on the sketch / challenge - I used some Lyndy's Stamp Gang Paint for my background and created the coffee stain look by using some black gesso.  Absolutely loved the sketch it was just perfect for this photo.

Here are a couple of close ups

Hop on over to the blog to see the rest of the design team's fabulous inspiration.

Wishing you everything of the best for 2015.

Sketchabilities Challenge

Friday night I was feeling a little scrappy, and was so inspired by Annelie's design team work over at Sketchabilities, that I decided to give the challenge a go, here is the sketch

Love the splats, the circles and just the overall design of the sketch, here is my take on the sketch

I've used lots of bits and bobs to create the layout, used some strips of washi tape, and my gorgeous Canvas Hearts from the September Crazy Monday Kit, OHHHH they are just gorgeous.

Here are some close ups.

So thank you Annelie for your gorgeous inspiration and for getting my MOJO Flowing
