I am just loving the Challenges over at Challenge Me Happy, and this fortnight challenge is a super recipe challenge.
The recipe is to used the following on your layout
- one or more stamps
- two photos
- ribbon or twine or both
- two or more paper clips
- no cardstock
- three patterened papers or moreMist/paint/ink & border punches are freebies as always
So for my papers, I started off with the gorgeous new My Minds Eye Tangerine - Sunshine Beam Paper as my base page but I cut a little piece out from the underneath the photo as it had red dots on which I love, I have also added some Tangerine Together Paper - Round, together with a little scrap from October Afternoon (but I cannot remember the range it came from. I just love the new range from My Minds Eye, the subdued colours are just soooo cool. So those are my three papers I have used,
Next, Two photos - these photo's are a follow on from our trip to Arrowtown, we went taboganing on the top of the Remarkables, and the photo's are of me trying very hard to make sure I stayed straight on the tabogan and not fall off.I have added some yellow twine from the My Minds Eye Miss Caroline range, some yellow / red paper clips from my supplies and then lastly my Tim Holtz number stamp.
I really loved the base paper, so didn't want to layer too many papers over the top of it, so I created little banners using the three different papers. All I did to the base paper was add some of my most favourite sprINKlers from October Afternoon - I just love those.here are a couple of close up shots...
All products used on this layout can be purchased over at Scrappin Patch, did you know that you can collect rewards points for everything you purchase. You receive 1 point for every $1.00, or part thereof. One point = .9c or part thereof in proportion to the $ amount you spend. e.g. you will receive 4.5c for a .50c spend. If you spend $25.30 you will receive 26 points but the $ value of the points will be $2.27. I think I have purchased quite a few things using my rewards points, especially for something which I have been waiting to buy, it always comes in handy.Anyway thank you to Annelie & the team over at Challenge Me Happy for this great challenge, it was alot of fun, and I am really happy with the final product.
